Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz (KEUK) is one of the top three humanitarian and economic universities in the country. KEUК prepares specialists in the field of market relations, management and marketing, business and entrepreneurship, accounting and auditing, international economic relations, legal regulation of economic activity, customs economics. The training of highly qualified specialists is carried out in 13 specialties. The structure of the university includes the following divisions: 5 faculties; 4 branches; EMC "Karaganda University of Economics - cooperative (now economic) colleges of Kazpotrebsoyuz"; center of computer technologies; innovation center; College of Economics, Business and Law; scientific and educational center; personnel management department; department of planning, organization and control of the educational process; Department of Postgraduate and Additional Education; publishing center; museum of the history of consumer cooperation and the university; library. Among the teaching staff there are 22 doctors of sciences, 38 professors, 131 candidates of sciences. The percentage of teaching staff with academic/scientific degreeson is 54%. Today, the university has 70 agreements with leading universities in 18 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, South Korea, Turkey, China and Malaysia. Within the framework of the University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, 2 coordinated educational master's programs in dual degree in "Economics" and IT are being implemented. There are 6 student clubs at the university. For the summer holidays of students and teachers in the Karkaraly oasis there is a sports and recreation camp of the university. A "Yacht Club" was created to teach students how to swim. The university has a medical center, a dental office, a hairdresser.
