Rudny Industrial Institute is a modern scientific and educational complex in the field of technical sciences with a developed infrastructure. In the structure of the institute there are 3 faculties (mining and metallurgical faculty, faculty of energy and information systems, faculty of economics and construction), 7 departments. Students are trained in 18 undergraduate majors in the Kazakh and Russian languages; full-time, evening and correspondence modes of studies based on secondary, technical and vocational, higher education. Over the years, more than 25 thousand specialists with higher education have been trained at Rudny Industrial Institute, many of them have become leaders, businessmen, government officials and outstanding scientists. The teaching staff of the RII is 112 people, of which 4 are doctors of science, 32 are candidates of science, 6 are PhD doctors, 31 are masters degree holders. In total, 1504 students study at the university. Foreign students comprise 98 people (citizens of Uzbekistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China and Germany). International cooperation of RII with foreign universities is carried out on the basis of more than 57 international agreements. Joint scientific research is carried out, international scientific conferences and seminars are organized. The program of multilingual education "Electric power industry", "Heat power engineering", "Automation and control" is being implemented.
