The institution "Kostanay Social and technical university named after Academician Zulkharnai Aldamzhar" (hereinafter KSTU) was established as a result of the re-registration of the constituent document of the institution "Kostanay Social Academy". Kostanay Social Academy was founded in 1998 by academician, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Aldamzhar Zulkharnai Aldamzharovich, who was a knight of the Order of Parasat, as well as an honorary citizen of Texas (USA) and Kostanay. At the moment, it is the only complex of continuing education in the region. KSTU has its own educational and administrative buildings. The educational and educational process is carried out in 4 educational and laboratory buildings, workshops, recreation and practice centers, the University's Palace of Culture and outdoor sports facilities with a total area of 70348.9 sq.m. The buildings are equipped with computer classes with high-speed Internet, interactive classrooms, a library, a reading room, dormitories, a dining room, a buffet, a medical center and offices, sports halls. The university has a spacious assembly hall for 500 seats, with the possibility of holding various events. The equipment of the hall includes a visualization system, a concert sound amplification system, a stage light system. There is a comfortable conference room for business events, equipped with a video conference system. There are two comfortable dormitories. The auditorium fund is represented by 126 auditoriums, designed for 3244 seats. Of these, 22 lecture halls, 30 classrooms for seminars and practical classes, 28 educational laboratories, including 6 training grounds and 1 language laboratory, 18 computer classes, 2 reading rooms, 9 methodological classrooms, 15 multimedia classrooms. The composition of the common and educational premises fully meets the needs of students and university staff. The University library is an information center that has the necessary information and material and technical base to serve teachers and students.
