Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University is one of the oldest educational institution in the Republic of Kazakhstan with 84 years of its existence. NKU after M. Kozybayeva provides a three-level training of highly qualified personnel for bachelor's, master's and doctoral PhD programs. The number of current undergraduate educational programs is 64, master's programs - 35, doctoral programs - 6. Since 2018, the educational program "General Medicine" has been implemented. The contingent of students is 7523, of which 7164 are undergraduates, 319 masters students, 40 doctoral students. Since 2014, the university has been training personnel under the Serpin - 2050 program, adopted as part of the project "Mangilik el zhastary - industry!". Students from Turkestan, Mangystau, Kyzylorda, Almaty and Zhambyl regions study under the Serpin-2050 program. For 2020, the university provides training in 5 double-degree educational programs for master's and 3 undergraduate programs. The university is connected to the electronic educational resources of the world's leading publishing and printing houses, including ISI Web of Knowledge (Thomson Reuters), ScienceDirect, SCOPUS, etc. (access provided by JSC NTSNTI, Almaty). The university is a member of 9 international organizations: The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE), the Association of Asian Universities, the Eurasian Academic Forum (EAAF), the European Association of Universities, the Magna Carta of Universities, the Caucasus Association of Universities, the Scientific and Innovative Alliance for Agricultural Education of the Silk way, Network University of the CIS. The University has concluded 165 existing cooperation agreements with foreign universities, 14 - on cooperation with foreign organizations. The University has concluded agreements with 7 foreign universities for the implementation of 22 double-degree programs. Since 2017, 5 foreign specialists have been involved in the top management of the university. For five years, 195 students have been trained abroad, the university has accepted 15 students of foreign universities. Since 2015, 81 students of NKU have taken part in internal mobility programs. The university has 16 computer classes for 190 seats. In 2019, an IT center was opened, on the basis of which courses are held to develop the IT competencies of the population and university students. For the study of Kazakh and foreign languages, 4 multimedia language laboratories for 47 seats are used. To accompany distance learning, a tutor class for 10 seats is equipped. In the educational process, 66 multimedia complexes are used, 37 classrooms for 2286 seats are equipped with multimedia interactive whiteboards. For laboratory and practical work, 25 real-virtual laboratories have been introduced. The university has 3 interactive multimedia classrooms, on the basis of which a system of Web-conferences has been created. The library is equipped with the necessary telecommunication equipment, means of communication, 125 pieces of computer equipment, of which 93 are workstations for users with free access to the Internet.
