Pavlodar

Pavlodar - is a city in the north-east of Kazakhstan, the administrative center of the Pavlodar region, located on the West Siberian Plain. The climate is temperate, sharply continental. The population of the city is 361,623 people.

Pavlodar is a regional industrial center. The city has oil refineries, chemical, aluminum, electrolysis, metallurgical, cardboard roofing, machine-building plants.

The main attractions of the city are the mosque named after Mashkhur Zhusup, Bayanaul National Park, the Irtysh embankment, the Annunciation Cathedral, the Chekhov Regional Drama Theater, the Potaninsky Museum of Local Lore, a green grove, etc.
