Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is a recognized center of education, science and culture, whose history dates back to 1952. The University ranks 6th among 130 multidisciplinary universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The university structure includes: 4 higher schools (Higher School of Humanities; Higher School of IT and Natural Technologies; Higher School of Business and Law; Higher School of Pedagogy) and 14 departments. At 4 higher schools, students study in 59 bachelor's degree programs, 39 master's degree programs and 12 doctoral programs. The University has 8 modern academic buildings, specialized classrooms. The University has a National Laboratory for collective use, which includes laboratories for physico-chemical research, biology and biotechnology of plants, digital technologies and modeling, scientific and production laboratory of innovative technologies.
