Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is a recognized center of education, science and culture, whose history dates back to 1952. The University ranks 6th among 130 multidisciplinary universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The university structure includes: 4 higher schools (Higher School of Humanities; Higher School of IT and Natural Technologies; Higher School of Business and Law; Higher School of Pedagogy) and 14 departments. At 4 higher schools, students study in 59 bachelor's degree programs, 39 master's degree programs and 12 doctoral programs. The University carries out educational activities for bachelor's and master's degrees in the following areas: education, humanities, law, social sciences and economics and business, natural sciences and technologies, services. The University has 8 modern academic buildings, specialized classrooms. The University has a National Laboratory for collective use, which includes laboratories for physico-chemical research, biology and biotechnology of plants, digital technologies and modeling, scientific and production laboratory of innovative technologies.
