KMU Higher School of Public Health is the first that kind of institution on the territory of the CIS countries and to this day remains the flagship in the field of new scientific knowledge, ideas and practical skills for heads of medical organizations of all levels, primary health care specialists, government officials of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, firmly holding a leading position in education and science in public health. KMU Higher School of Public Health is an independent university in the field of healthcare, providing postgraduate education and additional professional education in current areas in the field of healthcare, taking into account the development of the industry, international experience and trends. KMU Higher School of Public Health cooperates on the basis of 22 agreements with universities from 12 countries (USA, South Korea, India, Italy, Israel, Lithuania, Malaysia, Finland, Uzbekistan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan), scientific organizations, embassies and scientific and educational funds of the countries of Europe, Asia and America. KMU Higher School of Public Health pays increased attention to the selection, training and advanced training of teaching staff. The departments (clinical and theoretical profiles) employ 62 teachers, of which, with academic degrees: 17 doctors of science, 3 PhD doctors, 22 candidates of science, and 20 masters. At the same time, it should be noted that graded teaching staff are people over 40 years old.
