Astana IT University is a university for talented youth of the country. The University is pleased to announce that starting this year it is possible to enroll through a general competition by winning state educational grants in the context of the declared areas of training and groups of educational programs. This allows applicants to significantly increase the chance of admission to the innovative programs of Astana IT University and become part of the digital history of Kazakhstan. This year, the university accepts applicants not only according to UNT scores, but also according to the results of the AITU Excellence Test entrance exam, which determines the level of English, as well as knowledge of computer science and logic. AITU Excellence Test is held during June, July and August at the university and at Ustudy centers in all regions of Kazakhstan. More than 2,500 gifted graduates of 2021 have already passed this exam. The University has been training IT specialists in English for three years according to the programs: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Big Data Analysis, Media Technologies, Industrial Automation, Cyber security, Telecommunication Systems, IT management and Digital Journalism, where more than 1800 students study. At the same time, the training is implemented on the basis of advanced methods and technologies of the project approach, taking into account practical tasks from IT companies. From 2021, admission to new Smart Technologies and IT Entrepreneurship programs begins, which are focused on the design and management of Smart systems, including 5G and IoT infrastructure, as well as the formation of modern sustainable entrepreneurial competencies for the opening and business administration of IT companies.
