Nur-Mubarak EUIC is a higher education institution founded in 1993 by a common agreement between Arab Republic of Egypt and Kazakhstan. The highest governing body of the university is the Board of Trustees which consists of officials from both countries. Educational programs of the University are developed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The mission of the university is to train highly qualified, competitive specialists, to implement educational programs in humanitarian and pedagogical areas, to increase the religious and spiritual potential of society. The university is included in the TOP-20 universities of Kazakhstan. The university trains specialists in 9 undergraduate educational programs, 2 master's educational programs and 2 doctoral educational programs. Today EUIC Nur-Mubarak has more than 1600 students (1572 bachelors, 60 masters and 36 PhD doctoral students). Teaching at EUIK Nur-Mubarak is carried out in Kazakh, Arabic, Russian and English. The team of teachers is annually replenished with foreign professors in order to strengthen the academic relations of Kazakhstan with the countries of the Muslim world. 23% of Nur-Mubarak University lecturers are foreign professors. In general, the degreeson percentage of teaching staff at the university is: Doctors of Science - 2%, Candidates of Science - 20%, PhD - 35%, Masters - 43%. Over the past 5 years, EUIC Nur-Mubarak employees have published 50 monographs and textbooks, 32 study guides and methodological documents, 162 articles in scientific publications recommended by COXON MES RK. The number of scientific publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals included in the Scopus database, Web of Science Core Collection, Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, by Clarivate Analytics was 51; in scientific journals indexed by the RSCI - 32. The State Prize in the field of science, the nominal scientific prize were awarded to 7 people, in addition, 15 copyrights and 10 patents were protected. The average percentage of employment among bachelor's students is 83%, master's - 90%, doctoral - 99%. About 7% of bachelors continued their studies in the master's program and 3% of bachelors abroad. The largest areas of employment for graduates were the muftiate (DUMK), departments of religious affairs, committees of correctional systems departments under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as education and science. The university is located in an ecologically clean area of the city at the bottom of Alatau foothills. The university possesses: 2 academic buildings, a hostel, a sports complex (football, volleyball, basketball, ice rink and gym), a library, reading rooms, Service Center for students, a sewing workshop "NMU-collection", NMU-shop and a canteen.
