Aktobe

Aktobe - is a city in Western Kazakhstan, the administrative center of the Aktobe region. The city is located in the northern part of the Aktobe region, on both banks of the left bank of the Ural-Elek River, in the central part of the Podoral plateau. The population of the city is 556,974 people.

Aktobe is the fourth largest city in Kazakhstan in terms of population and the largest city in Western Kazakhstan, which is divided into two main geographical parts: the Old City on the White Mountain (Old City) and the New City in the northwest (New City).
