Ust-Kamenogorsk

Ust-Kamenogorsk - is the largest city in the east of Kazakhstan, the administrative center of the East Kazakhstan region, bordering on China and Russia. The city is located about 280 km west of the peak of the Altai Mountains, Mount Belukh, at the confluence of the Ulba and Irtysh rivers. The urban climate is sharply continental with unstable humidity. The population of the city is 350,840 people.

Modern Ust-Kamenogorsk is the center of non-ferrous metallurgy in Kazakhstan. Since 2003, the first and largest car assembly plant in Kazakhstan "Asia Auto" has been operating in the city, which annually produces more than 10-30 thousand cars.
